I'm very proud of this American Idol winner. A strong Christian and worship leader, he's not ashamed to admit and tell the world that he is a Christian, one that many of us cannot measure up to. Even when he was in Malaysia, he was the first that I've heard to use the word "BLESSING to be in Malaysia". Woooow~ Though his voice is nothing to shout about as compared to the other singers, Kris Allen certainly has a way with his concerts. One thing I do respect is his musical talents. He is a songwriter and the assistant music director of New Life Church, but more than that, check out the instruments that he plays: guitar, piano, keyboard, viola, electric guitar... Double wooooow~ Anyway, that aside and just looking at the music, on a personal note, there isn't really much to shout about. This is probably just another typical pop album that is in the market. In fact, I'm a little disappointed with this album. But, maybe pop just isn't my thing. Overall, its ok to listen to the album but I wouldn't say I STRONGLY recommend it. Just my personal opinion. Overall, I give a 5/10.
